Dr. Jeffrey J. Betman

Jeffrey J. Betman, MD, DPM is the founder of Dr. Jeffrey J. Betman & Associates. He is a highly educated board-certified podiatrist and podiatric surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He has also served in various capacities as an educator and instructor of podiatric medicine and surgery.

Dr. Betman has an impressive education, starting with his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York, Stony Brook where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences. He also attended the University of the Northeast, College of Medicine in Tampico, Tamps, Mexico, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree (MD). Dr. Betman went on to achieve his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) in 1991 from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. He began his postgraduate training with a residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Chicago, IL., and achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, and acquired the status of Fellow with the American Professional Wound Care Association.

Dr. Betman is dedicated to continuing his education and over the years has received certifications in LASER surgery, internal fixation, and ankle and foot arthroscopy, as well as conscious sedation from the University of Louisville Continuing Health Sciences Education. He is also a certified Medical LASER Safety Officer.

Dr. Betman has several board certifications. He is board-certified with the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) for both Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Surgery and is also board certified with the American Board of Disability Analysts.

There are several Chicago area hospitals that Dr. Betman is affiliated with including Ascension Resurrection Medical Center, North Shore University HealthSystem/Swedish Hospital, Saint Anthony Hospital, and Community First Medical Center.

As an educator, Dr. Betman currently serves as a Podiatric Residency Rotation Director for North Shore University HealthSystem/Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL, and Podiatric Residency Clinical Instructor for Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital and Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago, IL. He is also a former Externship Program Director for Corinthian Colleges, Inc./Everest College and has served as a Certified Instructor for the American Heart Association (BLS/CPR).

Dr. Betman stays active in many professional organizations within the podiatric profession. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Association of Hospital Podiatrists.

As a native New Yorker having lived in the Chicago area since the Bears won the Super Bowl back in 1985, Dr. Betman and his family call Chicago their home and haven't looked back since. Dr. Betman speaks several languages including English, Italian, Spanish, & Polish and also appears in the U.S. Registry's Who's Who Among Outstanding Americans.

Margaret "Molly" Stelle-Betman, APN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a valuable member of the Dr. Jeffrey J. Betman & Associates team.

Ms. Stelle-Betman attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to achieve her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Program, at the University of St Francis in Joliet, IL.

Ms. Stelle-Betman is certified with the American Heart Association in ACLS, PALS, and CPR. She is a former certified instructor with the American Heart Association (BLS/CPR), and is a current member and past regional chairman of Illinois Society of Advance Practice Nursing.

Dr. Corey Czarnecki

Dr. Corey Czarnecki, DPM graduated with an undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois. He went on to Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago Illinois and graduated with a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Following this, he completed a 3 year foot and ankle surgical residency in podiatry at Swedish Hospital, Part of NorthShore. During his time there, he was made chief resident during his final year.

Dr. Czarnecki participated in a case study published in Podiatry Today in 2021 pertaining to limb salvage. His training has provided him experience in treating bunions, hammertoes, nail and skin pathologies, diabetic foot care and limb salvage, trauma, sports injuries, as well as chronic foot and ankle pathologies. He grew up in the Chicago suburbs and is looking forward to helping patients in this area.
